For the price the Hotel was not in great shape and the customer service was not Outstanding. Checked out and after my business was concluded at Roswell Ga I decided to stay back in College Park at another hotel closer where some relatives reside and that's when I realized I made a big mistake. When I arrived at the Hotel the Beautiful Young lady working at the counter got me checked in very early and was Outstanding at her job as well. I called when I got off the plane to confirm pickup which was around 11:30am and by the time I made it to the pickup area the driver was on site and helped with my bags, he was very friendly and excelled at his job. My stay started on Monday where I was picked up from the airport via shuttle. Love the large shower, although water pressure was not great. The "small" bathroom that many seemingly took issue with was not an issue for me.it was more than enough space for us and I love, love, love the clean contemporary design. The big flat-screen TV was a definite plus. With the exception of the mural on the wall and the strong colors of the accent walls I was more than satisfied with the style, spaciousness, and the contemporary room decor.LOVED it to be honest about it. This hotel is in a good location if you need to be close to the airport and the Georgia Convention Center, other than that the location is not ideal and the area will not have you wanting to take a stroll. The Saturday night party in the hotel restaurant was a shocker.don't know how guests on the first floor were able to rest and relax. We informed the front desk and went to pick up what we needed from a staff member that gave the impression he needed permission to give us what housekeeping had failed to do. We were provided ample towels and washcloths the first night, however after returning to our room after being out of the room the entire day the following day we discovered we had only been provided three hand towels but no bath towels nor washcloths. The Beauty-Rest extra-firm mattress most definitely was NOT our friend, however it is understandable that providing the right mattress to meet the needs of every guest is unrealistic. We asked to be switched to what had been requested but was told that double beds were not available. Double beds were requested during the reservation, however we were given a king-size bed. However our reservation which was made weeks prior was not fulfilled. I should have read the previous reviews re: staff so I could have been prepared.Check-in went well and the staff was welcoming. Overall nice hotel, but need better staff. There was a family reunion going on, so maybe they were swamped. We waited an hour for our breakfast in the dining room. We were in town for a wedding, and late for an event because of all the chaos. Customer NO service! Management corrected the problem, but the staff was extremely rude and we had waste a lot of time because of their miscommunication. He never offered us a solution, or recommended another IHG property since my husband is an Exec member, and I'm a Gold. He said he didnt know who we spoke to, and there is no record of confirmation. And said it just like that."Vacate the premises" as if he would have us escorted. The original day of check out the front desk called and asked us to vacate the premises by 1:00pm. The staff said they had availability, confirmed us for another night. Our check in went well, but we called and asked to extend our stay an extra day. I was impressed how well the grounds of this hotel were kept, and all the little touches. Shame because the rooms were big and very nice, but when you get off a plane late at night, you also need a place to eat and Indigo restaurant was just too horrible to bear again. The bill originally included the dish we ordered for my son and never received and the new dish. In that time, we had some angry guy from the kitchen come out to tell us off and argue with us. "Would you like them to make something else?" "Hell yeah!" - It took another 40 min to that arrive. When we asked about it, the server told us that the kitchen did not have the ingredients required so they did not make it. My son's choice - duck - never arrived at all. We received our meals (a burger and a salmon dish) about an hour after ordering. I am not sure where the bar tender was and whether he knew. Why was the restaurant so terrible: - Our server did not know what prosecco was or that it should be served chilled and that being a sparkling wine it should have some bubble in it when poured. I guess Indigo does not like bad reviews. I wrote a more detailed review on this about a month ago, but it is still pending.
